Step 9.1 – Before you begin your Contract

       You must have received MAIL advising of your Contract starting date

Step 9.2 – Basic information about starting your Contract

      Our Associates will organise for you to be greeted and assisted when you arrive at your new workplace environment

      Our Associates and your Employer will ensure that an assimilation process is conducted in your new workplace prior to commencing work

      Contract status requires that you fully understand that – unless negotiated before hand:

·         All private/additional non-negotiated Contract and/or Relocation costs incurred by you - are for your account and must be paid for by you in the normal manner as is expected by law in any normal business negotiations and agreements

·         In no way will OLS^®, your Employer, or our Associates accept or even consider liability for any such non-negotiated costs – unless such costs are pre-authorised and accompanied by a copy of an official Purchase Order issued by us

·         No exceptions or variances to our normal Legal Terms and Conditions will be considered

      Your Online Folder is rightfully the Property of OLS^® although you are entitled to request a copy of the information we have stored on file in the Website:

·         however this free service will only be available when time is available

·         only when requested by the Member

·         and only in an electronic format as defined by OLS^®

Step 9.3 – Useful information regards starting your Contract

      Make sure you have Certified copies (and if possible originals) of all your Business and Qualification Documentation, and Other Documents you perceive necessary, so that there will be ‘No unexpected Problems’ with Australian bureaucracy

      Make sure you utilise the services of our Associates if at all in doubt or unsure of procedures or arrangements

      Make sure, if required, that you have re-confirmed all your accommodation and internal transport dates and the costs before you leave your home – there is nothing worse than having no idea where your staying, or no way to get there, when you arrive in a new environment 

      Utilise the Internet as well as Agents to ensure you find the best prices for any additional costs that you might incur

      It is usually your decision as to how you arrive at your workplace

      Where ever you are going to live and work in Australia an Agent of our Associates will usually be on hand to meet you and ensure that you get settled

      Make sure that you comply fully with the Australian regulations – you cannot afford to be refused entry or sent back home because of some silly mistake or stupidly arrogant decision
